On the theme of Working for a better environment, Environmental Assistance ran a conference held at Queen Mary and Westfield College, the University of London. The main aims of the conference were to consider Air Pollution.
Discussed at the conference were the following issues:

- The difficulties of getting officials to understand the implications of pollution's on health
- Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
- Difficulties for exposed persons

- European Court of Human Rights
- How to access information regarding health implications and legal redress
